PANCAKE DAY

Hello children,

Avui és Pancake Day. També és conegut com Dimarts de Carnaval. Sempre se celebra el dia abans de la Ash Wednesday. Pancake Day té diferents noms, que depenen del lloc on se celebra. Els diferents noms reflecteixen les diferències en costums en diversos llocs al voltant del món.

Fes pancakes a casa si ho desitjes.

What is a PANCAKE?

A pancake is a flat cake.

It is thin and round.

It can be sweet or salty. 

What ingredients do you need?

- 2 cups flour

- 2 cups milk

- 2 eggs (beaten)

- 1/3 cup butter (melted)

- 2 tablespoons sugar (sweet)

- 2 teaspoons baking powder

STEP 1:

Put all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix all the ingredients with a beater.

STEP 2:

Put some butter into a frying pan, Put the frying pan on to heat.

STEP 3: 

Pour a bit of the mixture into the frying pan.

STEP 4: 

Toss the pancake when it begins to bubble. Cook the pancake for one or two minutes more.

STEP 5:

CONGRATULATIONS! Your pancake is ready. Now decide what flavour you want for your pancake (cream, chocolate, honey, fruit...)
